Frequently Asked Questions
There are a number of questions I receive on a regular basis, and I've answered them so many times that I've decided to open an FAQ page. So before you ask me a question, please make sure I haven't already answered it on this post. Because of how often I receive these questions, I will not continue to answer them.
1. Q: What does Miranda look like/Why doesn't she show her face?
A: I don't show my face simply because I like my privacy, but I've hinted at what I look like before.
2. Q: How old is Miranda?
A: Since when do Strawberry Shortcake characters age? ;)
3. Q: What music did you use for A Day in Berry Bitty City episode such and such?
A: Most of the music is by Amy Diamond, though in earlier episodes I used music by the Clique Girlz and Miranda Cosgrove. If you go to the A Day in Berry Bitty City page on this site, you can find the tracks I used in the episodes.
4. Q: How come the earlier episodes of A Day in Berry Bitty City don't have voices?
A: Because when I started the series, I wasn't comfortable with voice-acting due to how horrible I was at it in my older videos. However, I've grown more comfortable with it over the years, and I am now incorporating it into my videos again. The series will have dialogue in the episodes beginning with episode seven, but my two specials, "A Berry Bitty Halloween" and "A Berry Bitty Christmas" already have it in them.
5. Q: Where is Cherry Jam in A Day in Berry Bitty City?
A: Cherry wasn't introduced to the series until episode 7, though you can find her briefly in episodes 5 and 6. You can also find her in the Halloween and Christmas specials.
6. Q: Where do you buy all of your dolls and playsets?
A: I usually buy them from Toys "R" us, Walmart, and Target, but due to Strawberry's toy company switching to The Bridge Direct, finding her Hasbro products is a pretty difficult task now.
7. Q: When will you upload another stop motion/episode of A Day in Berry Bitty City?
A: I try to release new episodes and animations as often as I can, but since they take a lot of work to produce they aren't the fastest or easiest to create. In the meantime, I also post vlogs and skits to my channel, so feel free to check them out while you wait for the next episode!
8. Q: Can you subscribe to/follow me?
A: Sorry, but no.
9. Q: How do you make your dolls move by themselves?
A: I apply a technique called stop motion animation. If you're unsure how it works, there are plenty of videos on YouTube to help you.
10. Q: What is your show [A Day in Berry Bitty City] - it's not Strawberry Shortcake?!
A: I intentionally make my show different from the actual series - what fun would it be if I made mine the exact same as the actual one? My goal is to create my own version of Strawberry Shortcake, so that means you may see things in my series that you may otherwise never see in Berry Bitty Adventures.
11. Q: Can you upload the full episodes of Berry Bitty Adventures?
A: No, I cannot. I want to respect the rights of the copyright owners, and uploading the episodes from the series would be violating their rights. Think about it this way: if you worked really hard on a project, would you want other people uploading it without your permission?
12. Q: Then if you can't post the episodes, where can I watch them?
A: Discovery Family Channel and Netflix.
13. Q: Can you make a video about _________?
A: As much as I appreciate feedback, I can't take video requests at the moment. I have so many ideas of my own, and I would like to work on them before I take on anything else.
14. Q: Can you make a video for me?
A: As I stated in my previous response, I can't just whip up a video whenever someone asks me to. Please take into consideration that I'm juggling a ton of other projects on top of being a full-time student, so consistently begging me to make a video for you seems a little insensitive.
15. Q: Can I re-upload your videos?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT. It doesn't make any sense for me to put all of my time and hard work into a project for someone to upload a duplicate of it. Not only is it stealing, but it's also infringing my rights. I'll leave it at this: if you re-upload my videos, you'll have to deal with the consequences.
16. Q: Can I have a shout out?
A: I very seldom give shout outs, but when I do I only give them to my most supportive subscribers.
17. Q: Is Berry Bitty City real?
A: It's up to you to decide. ;)
18. Q: How can I get my own Miranda doll?
A: The doll I use is a custom, so it can't be purchased anywhere. When I first started customizing it, I thought about making a video on the customization but later decided against it. With so many people asking this question, I'm starting to regret my decision.
19: Q: Do you have a P.O. Box?
A: No, I do not, because I don't want to give out my location. I wouldn't want people sending me crazy stuff, anyway. That would be weird. And scary.
20. Q: Can we video call/voice chat?
A: I'm very shy (not to mention introverted), so I'm sorry to say that I can't. Putting myself in that situation would make me very uncomfortable, and things would get real awkward real fast. Trust me. Lately I've had several people try to video call me to the point I had to disable my account. So please, don't pester me about this. After a while it gets to be very frustrating. If you want to talk to me, you can easily message me - I would be more than happy to chat. :)
I've also created a Frequently Asked Questions video where I've included a few additional questions:
